In Slator’s second annual language service provider (LSP) index, Ubiqus ranks 18th in the “Leaders Group” among 30 premier LSPs internationally.
Launched in 2018 in response to market trends and reader demand, Slator’s Language Service Provider Index paints a picture of industry health through a representative selection of providers that demonstrated model growth in 2017 and 2018 either organically or through M&A activity. The use of artificial intelligence (AI), such as neural machine translation (NMT), was another key qualifier and, as stated in the report, chosen LSPs “represent a meaningful composite of leading vendors.”
The index (Slator LSPI) is released annually and, while useful to all industry stakeholders, it is a resource designed particularly for enterprise buyers seeking large-scale, diversified foreign language solutions, including video remote interpretation (VRI) and multimedia localization. In keeping with more complex spoken, written, and tool-assisted language requirements, Ubiqus has positioned itself prominently at the forefront of NMT development and natural language processing (NLP) and continues to diversify its portfolio of offerings.
