The Verbatim Transcript is a word-for-word reproduction of spoken content. Every audible utterance is recorded in text, including ums and uhs. Proper names that can be discerned but for which the spelling is uncertain are spelled out and noted as “[phonetic].” Unintelligible segments are noted as “ - - ” or [inaudible]. The Verbatim transcript captures everything that is said in the way it is said using the lightest editorial touch.  You will receive the most comprehensive account of your meeting.

The Clean Transcript is a cleaner verbatim transcript. It eliminates all unnecessary hesitations, restarts, pauses and grammatical errors that are common in speech. The elimination of unnecessary speech enhances readability of the final document and ensures clarity on the page, making it a publishable but detailed record of proceedings.

In the Standard Summary, most secondary information is eliminated from the text. Emphasis is placed on highlighting the speaker’s main points. Information not central to the speaker’s main points (digressions, tangents, superfluous illustrative examples, etc.) is eliminated.

In the Brief Summary, all secondary information is removed, leaving the main points and the most salient information. Clients can raise beforehand what issues and themes are most important so that these can be brought out in the document.

In the Executive Summary, only the information at the heart of the speaker’s message is retained. All other information is suppressed, leaving an overview similar to meeting minutes.
