Eliminating communication barriers for large multilingual groups.
A women’s empowerment group within the United Nations Global Compact office, with more than 12,000 stakeholders in over 160 countries.
The client’s event is a two-day annual conference uniting more than 1,000 leaders in business, civil society, government, and the United Nations to discuss the economic impact and potential of women and girls globally, in recognition of International Women’s Day.
They needed expert quality, live language interpreters to enable a seamless, two-way stream of communication for over 300 of the 1,000+ worldwide presenters, panelists, and audience members.
Solution & Benefits
We recommended 4 professional simultaneous interpreters who were experts in the dialects spoken by all in attendance.
To enhance the conference’s quality, we also recommended the use of fully enclosed, sound-proof interpreters’ booths for sound isolation and minimal distraction to both the attendees and interpreters.
For ease of listening, our state-of-the-art Bosch® Infrared Interpretation System was selected.
With the help of our language interpreters, sound-proof booths, and full-scale simultaneous interpretation system, 100% of participants were able to listen to, process, and give feedback on discussions at the highest level.
Conference organizers were left confident and with peace of mind.
